Lots of fun last night with 500 miles to memphis show! However I'm not use to staying up till 3:45 and man did it wear on me today.  I got my chapter read for linguistics and had some good fun too. Paul adams stopped in to see the house on his way back to Nashville. It was great to see him after a two year repreav! We had dinner at Don and Karens tonight and Chris and patience came too. Chris has begun the March of the mustache!  LOL Don and Karen fly back to Florida in the morning.
Off to bed to sleep in my warm bed with he handsome husband. ;)  so thankful for a weekend with family and many blessings.

Surprise Mom and Dad visit!

So fabulous! Mom and Dad just dropped in for a short visit. It was sooooooo good to see them I've really been missing them a lot lately. Smiles all around. Thank you God for giving me such wonderfully good people for parents.

you guess it.... 'actaea' daffodil. :)

and another to remember are the allium flowers especially the purple sensation. These would look great planted up next to the house by the dark purple 'queen of the nigth' tulips we have.

white triumphator tulips are beautiful as well with a very lily shaped petal.

Edith cavell lilac and Angel white lilac would be good green screens to plant, as well as 'ninebark' , 'large fothergilla' (which is white in spring and red leafed in fall), snowball viburnum, *** 'bridalwreath spirea' is a must get!!!!!!!!and 'limelight' hydrangea :)

Something to remember this fall. I need to start thinking about more year round plants for the backyard and these would be perfect for the white flower garden. 'thalia daffodil'.

Hmmmm it is possible that I am trying to keep from writing about the phonetics of the Twi language right now. :)

I've had a great day though. Slept in with some wonderful cuddle time from my two boys this morning. Rolled out of bed to Barry making me some Goetta that his co-worker Mr. King ;) had given us. Then Barry went to the grocery for me so that I could go visit Granny and Pepaw for a minute. I have it so good! :) Zack came over to watch the tired Cats lose to the orange umpa lumpa but that's ok we'll have better days and they likely won't.

I better hit the books though, we are going to see 500miles to memphis tonight with Chris and Patience and I'm so not use to the late nights....hence the purchase of two five hour energy drinks. Hope the lemon/lime is a good flavor.

Great evening! I finished my paper with a BOOYAH!, and got to see the inlaws and their gang for dinner and wine. Good to see them after months in Florida! What wonderful people I'm able to call family. Thank you God! (and p.s. GO CATS lets avenge our way to a South Carolina win!!!!

4-Week Ab Makeover

4-Week Ab Makeover

As I attempt to get in shape at home....not the gym. This is one routine I've found I like for the abs. Better save it so I can remember it for later. :)
With a huge paper due tomorrow and me really needing to get started on this linguistics project I was quite surprised and happy to see a snow day. This week has been filled with tough mornings anyway. The alarm goes off and 30-40 minutes of fabulous cuddling later I roll out of bed...........inevitably late to school. So this morning has been nice. Cuddling, breakfast, slow coffee and searching for our Italia trip. Thank you God for the beginning of a great and blessed day.

Random thoughts of my days....usually float out onto the waves and never return. However this is my attempt at remembering the gifts I'm given with each breath.
