We are blessed to live in beautiful horse country and a hop, skip, and a jump from Keenland race track. On Sunday we took Henry out to watch the races. It was his second visit out there but the first time he could understand what he was seeing. There was so much to see and take in his little mind had to be overwhelmed. From Tractor's pulling the starting gates, to racing horses, and a big green lawn of pinecones he was a happy little Kentucky boy. We ran into friends and family while out there which made the day even more special.
"Fasta, fasta" he would say. On this wonderfully spent October day we the racetrack through the eyes of a child, and it was a refreshing experience to say the least.
